Wind Phone in Vermilion, Ohio

I'm excited to share conversations with Wind Phone creators as they discuss how they selected locations, obtained necessary permissions, and built and installed their Wind Phone.

Creator Series with Colin Campbell

Artist Amy Adams has created a gorgeous Wind Phone in Natick, Massachusetts, as part of Project Healing with HeART. It now stands as a tender place where anyone can come, speak their heart, and let the wind carry their words to those they miss. I had the honor of attending the opening of this Wind Phone in July and witnessing the love, care, and artwork that Amy and the community poured into bringing this beautiful space of healing to life.

Creator Series with Colin Campbell

My conversation with Colin Campbell was a gift. With his wife, Gail Lerner, he brought to life a breathtaking Wind Phone in the quiet beauty of Joshua Tree, California,  a tender tribute to their beloved children, Ruby and Hart. Colin spoke with such grace and depth, his words carrying the weight of love and loss. I hope you find our conversation as moving and luminous as I did.

Creator Series with Elizabeth Michalski

I had the pleasure of talking with Elizabeth Michalski, the creator and heart behind the Wind Phone in Willowick, Ohio. She shared so much wisdom and warmth—I know you’ll find our conversation as meaningful and engaging as I did.

Creator Series with Claudine Mourjan

I had a great chat with Claudine Mourjan, who created the Wind Phone in Hillsboro Beach, Florida.

She shared some really thoughtful ideas and insights—I think you’ll enjoy the conversation as much as I did.

Creator Series with Ray McGeorge and Allison Stillwell Young

I had the pleasure of sitting down with Ray McGeorge, the creator of the Wind Phone in Matfield Station, Kansas, and Allison Stillwell Young, the creator of the East Nashville Wind Phone. They are a wealth of information, and I'm sure you'll enjoy this conversation as much as I did.

Creator Series with Mary Leopold (Evanston, IL)

I had the opportunity to sit down with Mary Leopold, the creator of the Wind Phone in Evanston, Illinois. She has incredible insight and knowledge to share about creating a Wind Phone.

This website is in honor of and inspired by Emily; our bond will never be broken.

Team Dawson forever.
